Lower Church, The Monastery of the
Community of the Resurrection, Mirfield.
Needless to say, if you were to walk into "Lower Church" today at Mirfield, you would not find the worship space oriented in this direction. Much less, that crucifix, I believe, currently resides in the upstairs sacristry. The good old days....

Really interesting picture, thanks for sharing! Although I do prefer how the lower church at CR is today - there is a beautiful byzantine-style crucifix in the same spot, and the whole space is more in the round.
