My research focuses on Pierre de Chaignon la Rose (1872-1941) and the work he did to revive heraldry in the US during the early 20th Century. I like to share some of my findings here in anticipation of a forthcoming book on the herald. I am a member of the Order of St. John (US Priory) and currently serving on the Board of Governors of the American Heraldry Society. I hold memberships with the College of Arms Foundation (US), The Royal Heraldry Society of Canada, The Heraldry Society (UK), and an associate membership with the NEHGS Committee on Heraldry (US).
Dedicated to Our Lady of Walsingham, this blog focuses on US-based heraldic matters, particularly the work of Pierre de Chaignon la Rose (1872-1941) and the revival of heraldry in the US during the early 20th Century. All views expressed herein are those of the Author unless otherwise cited.
